Lindsay: Ladies Learning Code: Introduction to User Experience (UX) Design

September 21 2019

Join us at Pinnguaq Association’s Lindsay Makerspace from 1-3pm on Saturday Sept. 21, 2019, in support of National Ladies Learning Code Day. Our workshop will teach you the difference between User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) and how you can use them together to create a powerful user experience for everyone.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Building knowledge about User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design
  • Discuss ethics around UX and UI and why ethical design is crucial
  • Solve real-world problems in collaboration with team members
  • Create and prototype personas
  • Carry out user testing

Pinnguaq has facilitated coding workshops in 22 communities across Nunavut and Ontario, and we’re thrilled to bring this learning opportunity to Lindsay.

Please note that this is not a Canada Learning Code affiliated event, but we want to acknowledge the organization for the creation of the content being delivered under Creative Commons license
